Clarine's and Baker's

I found out shortly after Susan Baker started working at LDS Family Services that her son was serving in the Halifax Nova Scotia Mission. We used to joke about how we should call the mission president and have them be companions. Imagine our surprise when they actually ended up being companions!! They serve together in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. So, when we got a picture of the 2 of them together, I thought it appropriate that Susan and I should have one of us taken together!!

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!

Blogging was something I tried to ignore and thought others who were "into it" were fanatics. It was the furthest thing from my mind as something that would be of interest to me - and I definitely would not accept it as a "leisure activity". I already have too many interests and not enough time to do any of them justice. However, our girls have been after me all summer to start a blog. Yeah right - I don't know how to do anything technologically, unless you take me by the hand and do it for me! However, after much persuasion and determination on their part, I finally succumbed and decided I'd try my hand at it. Wow, it's acutally pretty fun - and addicting. It's also a way to share parts of our lives that are important to us. I find I could include lots and lots of things, but I also don't want to bore those of you that visit this site. So, whenever you have a few moments and want to see what's up with the Clarine's, come join us for a bit and share our life.
